Another Lockdown performance video from the Paul Millns Band. Who would have thought that Paul’s 30 year old blues song DOWN IN THE DANGER ZONE would become so meaningful for these times.

The Band are playing it the first time in a long long while, in three different cities, London, Freiburg and Dresden. Paul on piano and vocals, Ingo Rau on bass, Butch Coulter on harmonica, and Vladi Kempf on drums.

Many thanks again to Ingo for the sound and Kathi Decker for the visuals.

Enjoy, see you again soon.

DOWN IN THE DANGER ZONE  Paul Millns

Sirens in the city, there’s trouble in the air
something’s loose and running, could be anywhere
and you’re so far out there from your home
lost down in the danger zone.

Streets gone crazy, rushing this way and that
searching for the exit, searching for the crack
you’re high and dry out there on your own
stranded down in the danger zone.

Look up above, see birds fall from the sky
look down below, see fear in every single eye
and all the seeds have been sown
there’ll be strange fruit growing down in the danger zone

Call me a dreamer, tell me I’m wrong
your brain’s still working but your heart’s long dead and gone
turn all your world to solid stone
till there’s nothing left down in the danger zone
down, down in the danger zone.
They’re gonna leave you down in the danger zone.

HERE WE GO, the first lockdown music video from Paul Millns and the Band, filmed on our phones in 3 different cities.
Paul’s song LOVELY DAY with Paul in London; Ingo Rau bass, and Vladi Kempf drums in Freiburg; and Butch Coulter harmonica in Dresden.
Thanks to all, and especially Ingo for the sound and Kathi Decker for putting together the different visuals.
Keep safe everyone, raise a glass to the next time…and watch this space…
